MATTIA TRAVAINI

Founder and Creative Director of Mavimatt

Born in Italy in 1992 into a family connected to the world of furniture and interiors, Mattia Travaini developed an early sensitivity for spaces, materials and the role objects can play within an environment.

His passion for car design and product design led him to study Industrial Product Design at Politecnico di Milano, where he deepened his understanding of form, function, materials and the development of design objects. In 2018, he founded Mavimatt in Veneto with the vision of creating a brand capable of connecting Italian craftsmanship, sculptural forms and a contemporary way of communicating design to the world. As Founder and Creative Director, Mattia guides the creative direction of the brand, from the first concept to the final identity of each piece, shaping a visual language designed to be distinctive, recognisable and emotionally engaging.

His approach combines design culture, artisanal knowledge and a strong attention to visual impact. Through Mavimatt, Mattia continues to explore bold forms, material research and handmade Italian quality, with the aim of creating objects that are not only functional, but memorable.
