An Extraordinary Process
At our Italian atelier, the artist spent two full days immersed in a creative collaboration with the Mavimatt team. The armchair’s shell was meticulously crafted by hand with:
- 25,000 individually selected Swarovski crystals, each placed with tweezers and adhesive to create a delicate gradient effect—from smaller diameters at the base to larger ones toward the top.
- Hand-shaped silicone drops, arranged in harmony with the crystals to enrich the texture and bring the surface to life as the light shifts.
- Blue Chameleon paint, a high-tech liquid finish that changes tone and reflection depending on angle and lighting.
- Short-pile sky-blue velvet upholstery, chosen to evoke the hues of the sky while offering refined comfort.
