A hand-tufted wool rug created specifically for the Chromasis Armchair.
Its elongated oval silhouette echoes the enveloping geometry of the chair, while a distinct dividing line defines two color areas that can be coordinated with the shell and seat above.

Design Concept
The Chromasis Rug was designed as an extension of the Chromasis Armchair, translating the chair’s rounded, enveloping geometry onto the floor.
Its proportions and outline were developed around the presence of the armchair, creating a dedicated surface that visually frames the piece and reinforces its distinctive form.
Form & Composition
The rug features an elongated oval shape inspired by the profile of the Chromasis shell.
A sweeping dividing line crosses the surface, separating it into two distinct color areas.
These can be coordinated with the colors of the chair’s shell and seat, allowing the rug and armchair to be configured as a unified composition.
Hand-Tufted in Italy
Hand-tufted in Italy using 100% New Zealand wool, each Chromasis Rug is individually crafted through an artisanal process.
Colors can be selected according to the desired composition, while the pile can be kept at a uniform height for a clean, graphic surface or developed at different heights to create depth and a more pronounced three-dimensional effect.
Each rug is finished with a hand-sewn Mavimatt textile label.
Each Mavimatt rug is individually hand-tufted in Italy. Subtle variations in color, texture, pile height and surface finish are natural characteristics of the handmade process and make every piece unique. A limited amount of fiber shedding may occur, particularly during initial use, as is natural with hand-tufted wool rugs.
