Fluida is a sculptural floor lamp handcrafted in Italy, defined by a continuous, fluid silhouette of alternating curves and projecting forms.
Inspired by the way wind gradually shapes natural surfaces, Fluida combines a monolithic sculptural presence with integrated lighting that accentuates the contours of its form.

Wind Translated into a Floor Lamp
Fluida draws inspiration from the invisible force of wind and its ability to gradually shape natural surfaces over time.
This concept takes shape through a continuous vertical form, with volumes that expand, contract, and shift as though sculpted by an invisible force.
The design develops as a single evolving form in which every variation contributes to the identity of the piece.
Three projecting sections interrupt the silhouette and play a central role in the interaction between form and light, giving Fluida a distinctive presence that changes with the viewing angle and illumination.
A Hand-Shaped Composite Body with Integrated Lighting
Fluida is handcrafted in Italy, one piece at a time, through an artisanal production process.
Its composite structure combines fiberglass and carbon fiber and is progressively shaped, refined, and sanded by hand by Mavimatt artisans.
The continuity of the form requires careful manual work in order to control the transitions between the narrower sections, the broader volumes and the projecting elements.
Three of the projecting sections incorporate recessed LED light sources, integrated directly into the body.
Directed downward, they cast light onto the body of the lamp and the surrounding floor, generating shadows, reflections and changing light effects that become part of the visual experience of the piece.
Each Fluida is completed with an aluminum identification plaque engraved with the Mavimatt logo. Crafted by a specialist jeweler and applied by hand, the plaque identifies the lamp as an authentic Mavimatt creation.
RAL Colors, Chrome Finishes, and Tailor Made
Fluida is available in several finish editions, allowing its fluid geometry to be interpreted in markedly different ways.
The RAL Edition offers a wide selection of RAL colors, available with matte or gloss finishes.
The Chrome Edition features reflective metallic finishes in tones such as yellow gold, rose gold, and silver, with additional metallic colors available on request.
Through Mavimatt Tailor Made, bespoke textures, special surface treatments, and one-off finishes can be developed for individual interiors or projects.
As light moves across Fluida’s continuous sculpted surface, each finish influences the way the lamp is perceived, emphasizing either the softness of its volumes or the contrast between shadow, reflection, and form.

Each Mavimatt piece is individually handcrafted in Italy. Subtle variations in surface, tone, texture, form and hand-finished details are inherent to artisanal production and make every piece unique. A Custom-Built Crate for Fluida
Built around Fluida’s shape and dimensions to protect it throughout its journey.
Every Fluida is prepared for shipment inside a custom-built wooden crate, made according to its specific shape, dimensions and characteristics. Inside, the piece is carefully protected and secured using dedicated packing solutions designed to limit movement and stress during transportation.
From Italy, we arrange worldwide delivery by road, air or sea, selecting the most appropriate solution according to the destination and the characteristics of the order.
