Yalux is a sculptural Murano glass floor lamp handcrafted in Italy, defined by the interplay between metal and Murano glass.
Its vertical T-shaped structure supports a hand-blown Murano glass bubble at the top, while light rises from below to illuminate both the metal body and the precious glass element above.

A T-Shaped Structure Crowned by Murano Glass
Yalux was conceived as a lighting piece with a clear, essential structure capable of supporting a luminous glass volume in a visually balanced way.
The design develops around a vertical metal body with a T-shaped section, creating a strong architectural presence that rises upward before meeting the softer form of the glass bubble above. The contrast between the sharp geometry of the structure and the organic Murano element defines the identity of the lamp.
Light plays an essential role in the composition. Positioned at the base, two upward-facing spotlights wash the metal surface with light before reaching the Murano glass at the top, turning the upper element into the visual focal point of the piece.
Hand-Finished Metalwork and Individually Blown Murano Glass
Yalux is produced in Italy through an artisanal process that combines metalworking with traditional Murano glassmaking. The main body is developed in metal by specialist craftsmen who shape, weld, refine and finish the structure by hand.
Once completed, the metal element houses two integrated LED spotlights positioned at the base, designed to project light upward through the full height of the lamp.
The upper glass element is hand-blown by a master Murano glassmaker. Each glass bubble is shaped individually, so no two forms are exactly alike. These subtle variations are part of the character of every Yalux, making each lamp a distinct creation.
Each Yalux is completed with an aluminum identification plaque engraved with the Mavimatt logo. Crafted by a specialist jeweler and applied by hand, the plaque identifies the lamp as an authentic Mavimatt creation.
RAL Colors, Chrome Finishes, Tailor Made, and Murano Glass Colors
The metal structure of Yalux is available in a wide range of RAL colors, with matte or gloss finishes. Chrome finishes are also available, creating reflective metallic effects.
Through Mavimatt Tailor Made, the structure can be further customized with bespoke textures and special material-inspired finishes created for individual interiors or projects.
The Murano glass bubble is available in different colors on request, allowing the client to define the relationship between the tone of the glass and the finish of the metal structure.

Each Mavimatt piece is individually handcrafted in Italy. Subtle variations in surface, tone, texture, form and hand-finished details are inherent to artisanal production and make every piece unique. Every Yalux is prepared for shipment inside a custom-built wooden crate, made according to its specific shape, dimensions and characteristics. Inside, the piece is carefully protected and secured using dedicated packing solutions designed to limit movement and stress during transportation.
