A sequence of rising and falling folds defines its profile, while one section projects outward to form a functional console surface.

From a Heartbeat to a Sculptural Form
The concept behind Life draws inspiration from the visual rhythm of a heartbeat, expressed through the line of an electrocardiogram.
The changing peaks and intervals of that line became the starting point for the console’s geometry.
Its surface moves through a succession of pronounced and more subtle folds, transforming a two-dimensional rhythm into a three-dimensional composition.
One of these folds projects further from the wall to become the functional support surface, integrating the purpose of the console directly into the concept that generated its form.
A Continuous Composite Body Shaped by Hand
Life is handcrafted in Italy, one piece at a time, through an artisanal process.
Its continuous composite body combines carbon fiber and fiberglass and is carefully shaped and refined by hand to define the varying depths, folds, and transitions of the surface.
Particular attention is given to the projecting section that forms the console top, ensuring that it remains visually integrated with the surrounding geometry rather than appearing as a separate component.
Once the form is complete, the entire surface is carefully sanded and prepared before undergoing a specialized liquid-coating process.
Each Life is completed with an aluminum identification plaque engraved with the Mavimatt logo. Applied by hand to the finished piece, the plaque identifies the console as an authentic Mavimatt creation.
RAL Colors, Chrome Finishes, and Tailor Made
Life is available in different finishes that can substantially alter the way light interacts with its folded surface.
The RAL Edition offers a wide selection of RAL colors, available with matte or gloss finishes.
The Chrome Edition features highly reflective metallic finishes that accentuate the varying depths and curves of the console.
Through Mavimatt Tailor Made, bespoke textures, material-inspired effects, and custom finishes can be developed on request.
Because the design is defined by a continuous sequence of folds, each finish interacts differently with the surface, emphasizing either the subtle transitions or the sharper changes that give Life its distinctive rhythm.

Each Mavimatt piece is individually handcrafted in Italy. Subtle variations in surface, tone, texture, form and hand-finished details are inherent to artisanal production and make every piece unique. Every Life is prepared for shipment inside a custom-built wooden crate, made according to its specific shape, dimensions and characteristics. Inside, the piece is carefully protected and secured using dedicated packing solutions designed to limit movement and stress during transportation.
