A Dining Table in Solid Natural Stone, Defined by Monolithic Forms
Omega is a handcrafted luxury dining table conceived entirely around natural stone.
Its broad stone tabletop rests on two monumental supports, each defined by a carved opening and a contrasting metal insert that introduces a precise detail into the monolithic composition.

Shaped by the Monumental Character of Natural Stone
Omega originates from the elemental presence of marble and the monumental geometries associated with blocks of stone extracted from the quarry. Its design reduces the dining table to a composition of strong, essential volumes: a substantial horizontal top supported by two carved stone supports.
Their elongated openings lighten the visual mass of the stone while creating one of the defining features of the table. Set inside each opening, a metal band introduces a contrasting material and emphasizes the geometry of the supports.
The result is a composition based on the dialogue between solid stone, negative space and a precisely integrated metallic detail.
Carved from Solid Natural Stone
Omega is handcrafted in Italy from solid natural stone, with its tabletop and two supporting legs made from selected marble or quartzite, depending on the configuration. Each component is cut from solid stone and carved, shaped, sanded, and refined by hand.
Particular attention is given to the openings within the legs, where the thickness and continuity of the stone must be carefully worked to preserve the strength and proportions of the original design.
The inner metal bands are produced separately, handcrafted and finished before being integrated into the natural stone supports.
Natural stones can be selected from different marble and quartzite varieties, including Carrara marble and other stones available on request. Their individual veining, mineral composition and tonal variation ensure that the surface of every Omega develops its own character.
Each Omega is completed with an aluminum identification plaque engraved with the Mavimatt logo. Crafted by a specialist jeweler and applied by hand, the plaque identifies the table as an authentic Mavimatt creation.
Marble, Quartzite, and Contrasting Metal Details
Omega offers a carefully selected range of natural stones and metal finishes. The tabletop and supports can be made from different marble or quartzite varieties, allowing the client to choose the veining, color, and mineral character best suited to the interior.
Depending on the project, Omega can be crafted from a single stone variety or through coordinated combinations of different stones.
The metal inserts within the two supports can be customized independently, with colors and finishes selected to complement the stone or create a stronger contrast that highlights the carved openings.
The combination of natural stone and metal gives each Omega a distinctive material identity while preserving the monolithic geometry at the heart of its design.

Each Mavimatt piece is individually handcrafted in Italy. Subtle variations in surface, tone, texture, form and hand-finished details are inherent to artisanal production and make every piece unique. Every Omega is prepared for shipment inside a custom-built wooden crate, made according to its specific shape, dimensions and characteristics. Inside, the piece is carefully protected and secured using dedicated packing solutions designed to limit movement and stress during transportation.
