Dakota Schuetz, now known by his nickname Kota, is an American professional freestyle scooter rider. In 2016, Schuetz secured the most wins in the Freestyle Scootering World Championship and was recognized in the Guinness World Records. After winning the ISA Scooter Competition world championship title three times, he realized that victory was never an endpoint for him; instead, reaching the peak of his sports career spurred him to explore new horizons and start creating art.
This journey led him to cross paths with our brand, Mavimatt. Discovering us on social media, Kota instantly fell in love with our tailor-made, handcrafted products, captivated by the high degree of customization we strive to provide our customers. Our renowned Ufo chair immediately caught the attention of the American champion, who, after visiting us in person at our atelier in Venice, decided to embark on a collaboration with us.
