Every Ufo has its “version”
Of the different armchairs editions twe have created, Ufo S is the basic edition. What do we mean by ‘basic’? We mean that it is the least customisable edition among the different chair editions. On Ufo S you can choose from 29 different colours for its fabric seat, while for its chassis (made of fiberglass) you can only have it in a white colour. We chose white for the chassis of this edition because white is the colour of purity and goes perfectly with each of the 29 different colours of the fabric seat. The shell is totally hand-painted (one piece at a time) with a special ‘liquid’ type of paint, that comes from the automotive world. We use this special paint to ensure maximum resistance of the colour applied to the chassis. Ufo S is a perfect masterpiece in its beauty, originality and simplicity.
Details that make the difference
Our philosophy is to leave nothing to chance, which is why even in the basic edition of the Ufo rocking chair we have decided to apply an identification plate that guarantees the originality of the armchair. This plaque is made entirely by hand, in aluminium, by one of our expert goldsmiths and is applied to the upper part of the white chassis of each Ufo S.
Packaging and shipping
The Ufo S rocking chair is packed in a special, custom-made, three-wave cardboard box with internal polystyrene protectors that guarantee maximum protection for the Ufo. The box is then placed and secured on a wooden pallet for transport. In addition, (since we at Mavimatt always want to give the best in terms of quality and safety) a special wooden cage is built around the cardboard box to give even greater security during transport to its final destination.
