A diamond-inspired form transformed by a fluid sculptural gesture
Sierra is a luxury coffee table inspired by the faceted geometry of a cut diamond. Its angular body contrasts with a flowing, organic element that extends from the top toward the floor, becoming a supporting leg and one of the design's most distinctive features.
Each Sierra is handcrafted in Italy. Selected limited editions are also carved from a single solid block of marble.

Where Faceted Geometry Meets Fluid Form
Sierra takes its inspiration from the precise geometry and faceted surfaces of a cut diamond. Rather than reproducing its form literally, the design reinterprets its sharp, mineral character through a sculptural volume conceived as the body of a coffee table.
A fluid element disrupts this geometric composition. Beginning on the upper surface, it appears to flow over the faceted body before extending downward and reaching the floor, where it becomes a supporting leg.
This contrast between rigid geometry and organic movement defines Sierra’s identity, bringing two opposing visual languages together within a single object.
A Sculptural Coffee Table, Shaped and Finished by Hand
In its composite editions, Sierra is built around an internal metal structure, with a body made from fiberglass and carbon fiber composites. Each piece undergoes extensive work by hand.
The body is progressively milled, carved and shaped before being carefully sanded to refine both the faceted geometry and the transitions of the fluid element.
Once the form has been completed, the entire surface is prepared for finishing. The selected coating is individually applied using a specialist liquid-coating process, followed by the manual finishing required to achieve the final surface quality.
Sierra is produced one piece at a time through an artisanal process rather than an industrial production line, allowing particular attention to be given to the shaping, preparation and finishing of every table.
As the final detail, each Sierra is marked with an aluminum identification plaque engraved with the official Mavimatt logo and applied by hand to the finished piece. The plaque serves as a distinctive sign of authenticity, identifying the table as an original Mavimatt creation.
From Bespoke Finishes to Solid Marble Editions
Sierra is available in a wide range of colors and surface treatments, allowing its faceted geometry and fluid detail to take on distinctly different expressions. RAL colors are available with matte or gloss finishes, while special chrome finishes create highly reflective, metal-inspired surfaces.
Through Mavimatt Tailor Made, bespoke colors, finish combinations, and surface effects can be developed in collaboration with the client to meet the requirements of a particular interior or project.
Selected limited editions of Sierra are crafted entirely from a single solid block of marble. The form is carved and shaped directly from the stone, translating Sierra’s distinctive geometry into a natural material in which every piece is inherently unique.
Different marble varieties can be selected on request, allowing each edition to be defined by its own veining, color and natural character.

Each Mavimatt piece is individually handcrafted in Italy. Subtle variations in surface, tone, texture, form and hand-finished details are inherent to artisanal production and make every piece unique.
